Abstract
Acoustic wave filters are widely used in mobile phone RF systems, among which SAW filters occupy more than 70% of the market share due to their high performance and low cost. Traditional SAW filter designs are mainly based on optimization algorithms such as genetic algorithms or simulated annealing, which heavily rely on the experience of engineers and the manufacturer's parameter library. This work designs SAW filters based on the generalized Chebyshev synthesis method, and the results show a very good agreement between simulation and actual measurement.
